  • Our sewing studio is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your sewing class.

    • Our adjustable-height sewing table accommodates makers of all ages - children and adults - whether sitting or standing.

    • We have 10 sewing machines and 1 overlock machine.

    • There’s 1 machine that can do basic embroidery, like small letters.

    • Plenty of thread and hand sewing needles.

    • Plenty of different presser feet.

    • Muslin for draping and professional dotted pattern paper. If you use more than ½ yard, please contribute $1 to our supply jar.

    • A fabric room (!!!) with a selection of fabric free for your projects, plus other pieces available for $1–3 per yard to help us replenish and keep the studio stocked. Everything from cotton knit, to 100% silk, leather, twill, velvet, wool, tulle, and so much more.

    • Buttons, elastics, twill tapes, bias tapes, zippers, snaps, handbag hardware… and more.

  • We like our studios to be roomy, spacious, and safe for everyone. Our classes are usually only 2-5 sewers. Perhaps 6, if more advanced.

    • We clean surfaces and vacuum daily.

    • We have wipes available if you want to clean the tools in our sewing box. We do it at least once a week.

    • Everyone need clean hands and clean (kid) noses when they come in.

    • Bring indoor shoes if weather is bad.

    • Our restrooms are just outside the Parlor, in the hallway.

    • If you are not feeling well - please stay home and visit another day. We reserve the right to deny entry to visibly ill guests. It’s nothing personal - it’s for everyone’s health.

  • Yes, in our Parlor.

    We recommend that parents and guardians stay outside of the “classroom”.

  • We’re mindful of spills and clean-up. Water bottles are welcome .

    If you feel like you need a snack, please leave it on the counter or fridge in the kitchenette - just please don’t bring it to the sewing studios.

    • Cancel 72+ hours in advance for 70% refund or reschedule.

    • A non-refundable fee of 30% of the total cost applies. This covers enrollment and customer communication. If rescheduled within the allowed timeframe, the fee may be transferred.

    • No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the class. It will be considered forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.

    • No-Show: sorry, no refund.

    • Once classes are in session we are unable to refund your money.
