Book the studio for your own private event, add a full creative experience, bring your team in for something completely different, or let us help build the whole thing.
Create Your Special Event
Private studio rentals may accommodate up to 30 guests.
Full guided creative experiences are designed for up to 14 participants.
A simplified large-group creative experience may be available for groups of approximately 18–20 participants.
Final capacity depends on the type of event, furniture layout and planned activities.
No automatic gratuity. No service fee.
A $300 non-refundable deposit is due at booking (securing your date and is applied toward the total price). Remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. Once the final balance is paid, the entire party payment is non-refundable.
If the party is canceled more than 7 days before the event, any amount paid above the $300 reservation deposit is refundable.

Private Studio Event - $950
Bring your own gathering into the studio.
Perfect for birthdays, showers, small celebrations, office gatherings, clubs, creative meetups, holiday parties and just-because events.
You'll have private use of the designated event areas of Sew Dandelions for up to four hours, including setup and departure time.
No creative programming is included with this option.

You bring the people, food, cake and whatever makes the event yours.
We provide the space, tables and chairs, atmosphere, and normal post-event studio reset and cleaning.
Full Creative Studio Experience - $1,475
This is the full Sew Dandelions creative experience.
Your group will move through a mix of fashion design, draping, Zine creation, embroidery and embellishment.
The format is hands-on, varied and tailored to the age, interests and personality of your group.
All standard materials, tools and instruction are included.

The experience is designed around your group rather than forcing everyone to make one identical project.
You might sketch.
You might drape fabric directly onto dress forms.
You might embroider, embellish, collage or build something completely strange.
Most likely, you'll do a little of everything.
No previous fashion or art experience is necessary.
The creative portion is tailored to the age, interests and personality of your group - so a sixteenth birthday, a forty-fifth birthday and a group of coworkers will not be doing the same thing.
Large Group Creative Experience - $1,695
For larger groups, we offer a streamlined creative format without turning the studio into complete chaos.
The group works through one or two selected fashion or Zine activities that are especially well suited to a larger number of participants.
Textile embellishment, embroidery, fashion collage, surface design, or another activity developed specifically for the group.

Our creative team events are designed around experimentation, problem-solving, collaboration and making something with your hands.
Depending on the group, your event may combine individual projects, collaborative design challenges, draping, fashion concepts, unexpected materials and a little friendly creative chaos.
No artistic ability required.
In fact, sometimes the people who insist they're "not creative" are the most fun.

What You’ll Do
Every Sew Dandelions creative event includes a mix of fashion design, draping, and textile art.
Guests may sketch and develop fashion ideas, work directly on dress forms with fabric, embroidery, and experiment with embellishment and mixed-media.
The activities are designed as one complete creative experience rather than a menu of separate projects. Depending on the size of the group, guests may rotate through different areas of the studio so everyone stays engaged, making and trying something new.
Everything is adapted to the group. A sixteenth birthday, a forty-fifth birthday, a bridal gathering and a team-building event should not feel remotely the same.
The theme, materials and level of challenge are tailored to the people in the room, so no two Sew Dandelions events need to look exactly alike.
You do not need any previous fashion, sewing, or art experience. Curiosity is enough.
All standard materials, supplies and instruction are included in the creative-event price.

Fashion illustration becomes three-dimensional.
You experiment with fabric, trims, leather, ribbons, feathers, beads, jewels and mixed media.
Guests explore color, proportion, texture, styling and composition.
Each guest leaves with original fashion artwork created entirely by them.

Welcome to the mini atelier.
Guests work directly on dress forms, draping, pinning and shaping fabrics into miniature fashion looks while exploring volume, silhouette and proportion.
No two pieces ever look alike. There’s a lot of laughter, and that's the point.

A contemporary introduction to hand embroidery, textile design and surface embellishment.
Guests work with fabric, embroidery thread, beads, appliqué, trims and mixed media to create their own textile artwork.
This is stitching without the sampler-and-teacup energy. Experimental, tactile and completely personal.

We'll interpret the idea through the Sew Dandelions lens and build the creative experience around it.
We design our own themes rather than reproducing commercial packages.

Our styling is original and created specifically for your event.
Specialty rentals, elaborate florals, large-scale installations and outside décor vendors are not included in standard styling.
And yes, if you're imagining a champagne fountain with scaffolding, live peacocks, a six-foot ice sculpture of yourself, and Cher descending from the ceiling while your college roommate cries happy tears into a martini - that's a custom quote.
We are creative. We are resourceful. We are not magicians.
