Take your Cricut out of the box and learn how to use it with confidence.
You've invested in a Cricut machine - now it's time to actually use it. Whether your Cricut is still sitting unopened in the box or you've only experimented with a few simple projects, this workshop will walk you through everything you need to get started.
Together we'll set up the machine, explore Cricut Design Space and learn the basic workflow.

Cricut for Beginners Workshop

For adults, and mature teens age 15+.
Skill level: BEGINNER
Together we'll set up the machine, explore Cricut Design Space, learn the basic workflow, and complete two beginner-friendly projects using heat-transfer vinyl and cardstock.
Max 10 students in the class
Class will run with min 4 students
If you use reading glasses - PLEASE BRING THEM!

During this beginner workshop you'll learn:
How to set up your Cricut machine
Understanding mats, blades, tools and materials
Cricut Design Space basics
Creating simple text and graphic designs
Uploading and preparing designs for cutting
Cutting and weeding heat-transfer vinyl
Applying iron-on vinyl to fabric
Creating foldable cardstock projects
Common beginner mistakes and troubleshooting tips
Max 10 students in the class
Class will run with min 4 students

A custom cotton fabric panel featuring your own heat-transfer vinyl design
A folded cardstock gift box

Cristina will demonstrate everything on her own machine, so students without equipment can still fully participate.

You'll create a custom iron-on fabric panel and a cardstock gift box while learning the complete Cricut workflow.

This class introduces heat-transfer vinyl, which is the same technique used for decorating T-shirts. More advanced apparel projects will be covered in future Cricut workshops.

Once you're comfortable with the basics, you'll be ready for our upcoming Cricut Level 2 workshop, where you'll explore multi-layer vinyl, apparel decoration, more advanced Design Space techniques, and additional creative projects.
