A Sew Dandelions party isn't a craft table with a birthday cake.
It's a private fashion-studio experience where kids design, drape, stitch, embellish, experiment and make something completely their own.
Our parties are created for ages 6–15 and take place throughout the Sew Dandelions studio, surrounded by fabrics, mannequins, trims, fashion tools, art supplies and all the wonderfully strange things a working design studio collects.
THE FASHION STUDIO PARTY
$950 total. Ages 6–15.
Up to 14 children, including the guest of honor. Up to 4 hours of private studio access. No additional-child charges.
Private Studio + Creative Experience: $825. Studio reset and cleaning: $125.

No automatic gratuity. No service fee.
A $300 non-refundable deposit is due at booking (securing your date and is applied toward the total price). Remaining balance is due 7 days before the event. Once the final balance is paid, the entire party payment is non-refundable.
If the party is canceled more than 7 days before the event, any amount paid above the $300 reservation deposit is refundable.
What They’ll Do
Every Sew Dandelions party includes a mix of fashion design, draping and textile art.
Guests may sketch and develop fashion ideas, work directly on dress forms with fabric, and experiment with hand stitching, embroidery, embellishment and mixed-media textile techniques.
The activities are designed as one complete creative experience rather than separate party packages. Depending on the size of the group, children may rotate through different areas of the studio so everyone stays busy, engaged and making.
Everything is adapted to the age of the birthday child and their guests. A party for six-year-olds will look very different from a party for fifteen-year-olds - same creative world, completely different level of challenge.
The theme, materials and projects are also tailored to the birthday child, so no two Sew Dandelions parties need to look exactly alike.
All standard materials, supplies and instruction are included in the party price.

Fashion illustration becomes three-dimensional.
Young designers develop their own fashion figures using fabric, trims, leather, ribbons, feathers, beads, jewels and mixed media.
Guests explore color, proportion, texture, styling and composition while building a small fashion collection around the party's chosen concept.
Each guest leaves with original fashion artwork created entirely by them.

Welcome to the mini atelier.
Guests work directly on quarter-scale dress forms, draping, pinning and shaping fabrics into miniature fashion looks while exploring volume, silhouette and proportion.
They'll also create a wearable headpiece, crown or fashion accessory using hand-sewing techniques and an extravagant assortment of textile embellishments.
No two pieces should look alike. That's the point.

Best for ages 10–15.
A contemporary introduction to hand embroidery, textile design and surface embellishment.
Guests work with fabric, embroidery thread, beads, appliqué, trims and mixed media to create their own textile artwork.
This is stitching without the sampler-and-teacup energy. Experimental, tactile and completely personal.

We'll interpret the idea through the Sew Dandelions lens and build the creative experience around it.
We design our own themes rather than reproducing commercial party-store packages or licensed character décor.

Studio Rules
Your Four-Hour Studio Reservation
Your reservation includes exclusive use of the studio for up to four hours total.
Most families plan approximately 2½–3 hours of guest time and use the remaining time for setup and departure.

We schedule only one party during your reservation window. You will not be rushed out so another birthday party can immediately come through the door.
Food + Cake
We have a small kitchen/setup area and a dining space for the children.
Sew Dandelions does not provide catering, cake or tableware as part of the party package, but we do have extras.

Please, no cake pops.
Children must be seated in the designated party area whenever they are eating or drinking. Food should remain in that area, and children may not wander through the studio while eating.
This is a working fashion and art studio with fabrics, tools, equipment and materials throughout, so food and drinks stay where they belong.
Parents + Drop-Off
Our parties are drop-off friendly.
Parents or guardians hosting the celebration should remain at the studio. We recommend keeping the number of non-participating adults small. Thank you.

Our parties are designed for up to 14 children, including the guest of honor. Fourteen is the maximum so everyone has enough space, materials and attention to actually enjoy the experience.
