September 20, 2026 · New Providence, NJ

The runway is calling.

Students who participated in Sew Dandelions Summer Fashion Camp 2026 are invited to take part in Threads of Chaos, our end-of-summer student fashion show celebrating the garments, accessories, experiments, and wonderfully individual work created throughout the summer.

Student Registration — $55

The $55 student registration includes:

  • Participation in the Threads of Chaos Fashion Show

  • Fashion show preparation and rehearsal

  • Hair and makeup preparation

  • Admission for two parents/guardians

  • Admission for up to two siblings

Additional adult tickets and accompanying child tickets for ages 3–16 may be purchased separately (scroll down), or visit the TICKET page.

Student registration is final and non-refundable. Please review the show-day information before registering.

Student Drop-Off — No Later Than 2:00PM

All participating students must be dropped off at Sew Dandelions no later than 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 20.

We will use this time for dressing, styling, hair and makeup, runway organization, and rehearsal before the doors open.

Please make sure your designer:

  • Has eaten before arriving

  • Brings a water bottle

  • Arrives with clothing, accessories, and everything needed for their runway look - clean, pressed and ready on hangers.

This is a drop-off event during show preparation. Parents and family members should leave after drop-off and return when doors open for their scheduled show.

What Should Students Wear?

Full-Day Fashion Students: Please arrive wearing plain white or neutral/skin-tone undergarments underneath your clothing. Students will be changing into their runway looks at the studio.

Half-Day Accessories Students: Your accessories will be the focus of your runway look. Whenever possible, please arrive wearing a simple white top so the accessories can take center stage.

We will send additional styling instructions if anything specific is needed for your student's look.

Parent Hair + Makeup Volunteers

Want to come backstage? If you have experience with—or simply enjoy—hair and makeup, we would love to have a few parent volunteers help us prepare the students before the show. Please contact Sew Dandelions ahead of time if you'd like to volunteer so we can organize our backstage team.

Fashion Show Schedule

We are currently planning TWO RUNWAY SHOWS, depending on final student registration and public ticket sales.

4:00 PM — Public Fashion Show - Doors open at 3:30 PM

5:00 PM — Family Fashion Show - Doors open at 4:30 PM

The 5:00 PM show will be the primary performance for parents, siblings, and participating families.

****HOWEVER**** If fewer than 20 students register: The event will be combined into one fashion show at 4:00 PM, with doors opening at 3:30 PM.

The final show schedule and family show assignment will be confirmed with participating families before September 20.
