Are you looking to get into bagmaking? The Briamar Oversized Zippered Pouch is a simple introduction into the world of bags and bag patterns. This versatile pouch is great for organizing makeup, cords and chargers, shaving supplies, art supplies, etc. It has a large zippered main compartment a smaller front zippered pocket. We’ll be using thicker fabrics, including canvas and home decór fabrics plus handbag zippers that are larger than apparel zippers. I’ll have complete kits available for you to choose from, and will have a variety of colors, patterns, and solids, coordinating or contrasting zippers and hardware, so you can opt to make a feminine, masculine, or non-gendered pouch.

After selecting your materials kit, we’ll get right to sewing! We’ll follow my pattern and I’ll go over why I made certain design decisions. I’ll also talk about modifications you can make, including adding a strap to make it a wristlet or crossbody bag. You’ll leave with a multipurpose pouch that you can use for home, travel, or gifting!

Ideal for sewers who have taken a few classes and feel comfortable with a sewing machine.
