On September 20, 2026, Sew Dandelions presents Threads of Chaos, a student fashion show in New Providence, New Jersey, celebrating the imagination, experimentation and wonderfully unpredictable work of our young fashion designers.
Created throughout the 2026 Sew Dandelions Summer Fashion Camps, the pieces coming down the runway began with wildly different sources of inspiration - from Marie Antoinette and the extravagance of Versailles to Paco Rabanne, Yohji Yamamoto, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, underwater worlds, and French confectionery.
THE CHAOS HITS THE RUNWAY
Our students explored fashion through sewing, draping, illustration, accessories, unconventional materials and hands-on experimentation. Rather than following one pattern or creating identical projects, each designer was encouraged to interpret the week's inspiration in their own way. The result is a collection that's eclectic, unexpected and completely individual.
Threads of Chaos brings all of those ideas together for one afternoon on the runway, giving our young designers the opportunity to present what they created to their families, friends and community.

Threads of Chaos — Sew Dandelions Student Fashion Show takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Sew Dandelions in New Providence, New Jersey. Doors open at 3:30 PM.

Advance tickets are recommended as seating is limited.
Adults: $10
Children ages 3–16: $5
Children under 3: Free
Tickets are general admission and seating is first come, first served.

Free parking is available in the parking lot behind the building and along South Street. Please enter through the studio entrance located off the rear parking lot.
Accessibility
The fashion show will take place on the second floor of the studio, accessible by approximately 10 stairs. There is no elevator to the second floor. Guests who have difficulty using stairs should please take this into consideration before purchasing tickets.

Sew Dandelions is an independent sewing, fashion design and textile arts studio in New Providence, New Jersey, offering hands-on classes, camps, workshops and private instruction for children, teens and adults. Our approach combines traditional sewing and technical skills with fashion design, experimentation and individual creative expression.
