  • A non-refundable service fee of 30% applies to all registrations.
    This fee covers enrollment processing, customer communication, planning, and administrative work.

  • If you reschedule within the allowed timeframe, this fee may be transferred to a new date.

Client Rescheduling and Reminders

  • You may reschedule a class up to 72 hours (3 days) in advance using the “reschedule” link in your registration email.

  • A reminder email is sent 24 hours before your session. At that point, rescheduling is no longer available.

Courses · Camps · Classes · Workshops

  • Cancel 72+ hours before your session:
    70% refund (30% service fee retained)

  • Cancel within 72 hours:
    No refund. The session is forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.

  • Once a class or course is in session:
    No refunds will be issued.

Please note: Class offerings may evolve. If there is a delay between purchase and attendance, we cannot guarantee the same class will still be available.

Open Studio

  • Cancel 24+ hours in advance:
    Refund issued minus the 30% service fee, or you may reschedule.

  • Cancel under 24 hours or no-show:
    No refund.

Parties · Events · Birthday Celebrations

Waivers

  • All participants under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian before the event.

  • Waivers are emailed in advance, and it is the host’s responsibility to ensure all guests have submitted them.

  • We cannot accommodate any child without a completed waiver.

Deposits, Final Payments and Cancellations

  • A $250–$300 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your event date.

  • Until a deposit is received, we can only provide basic availability and general information.

  • The deposit is applied toward the total event cost.

  • Final payment is due 7 days prior to the event. Unpaid balances may result in cancellation, and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • If the event is canceled at any time, the deposit is forfeited and cannot be transferred or refunded.

Rescheduling

  • Events may be rescheduled with at least 25 days’ notice, subject to availability.

Cancellations

  • Cancel 25+ days in advance:
    - Deposit is retained. Any additional payments are refunded minus a 30% service fee.

  • Cancel within 25 days:
    - No refunds. Full payment is forfeited and cannot be transferred.

No-Shows

  • Unfortunately, we cannot offer make-ups or refunds for no-shows.

Instructor Cancellations and Emergencies

  • If an instructor is unwell or has a personal emergency, we’ll notify you as soon as possible and either arrange a substitute or reschedule your session.

  • If an instructor is more than 10 minutes late, you’ll receive an extra 30 minutes of class time, on us.

    • In cases of force majeure (weather, power outages, emergencies), sessions will be rescheduled.

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Depending on your bank, funds may take 1–2 billing cycles to appear. We’ll keep you informed via email.

We understand that schedules change. At the same time, our classes and events require advance planning, materials, staffing, and studio preparation. This policy helps us stay fair to everyone.

By registering for any Sew Dandelions service, you agree to the terms below.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The service fee covers registration processing, communication, planning, scheduling, and preparation that begin immediately after booking.

  • Transfers or reschedules are only possible within the allowed notice period for your specific service. Once that window has passed, the session is forfeited.

  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or make-up sessions.

  • No. Once classes are in session, refunds are not issued.

  • If a class is canceled by us due to instructor illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a reschedule, alternative option, or an immediate 100% refund to your credit card.

  • Parties and events require advance staffing, material sourcing and ordering, and date blocking. Once reserved, those resources cannot be reallocated on short notice.
