A beginner skill level means you do not need to know anything about sewing - we will teach you.
Machines and tools provided.
For adults, ages 17+
Your very first session will be a 2-hour long lesson on everything sewing machine. You must take this class before 12/30/25.

Quilting 1 - consists of a 2-hour long Intro to Sewing session, and six 90-minute long quilting sessions for beginning sewers, ages 17+.
You’ll work with beginner seaming and long strips of precut cotton strips.
Your very first session will be a “how-to” lesson in setting up your sewing machine and stitching basics - all the info you’ll need to carry out the rest of the course, confidently.
There will be two different quilting patterns to pick from.
Sewing machines, tools and most materials are provided - please buy your own fabric.
Of course, you take home what you make, which will be a beginner ‘baby’- size quilt.

1. One pack of jelly roll fabric - minimum 20 strips 20" wide - comes at various qualities/ price points. We are not affiliated with any vendor, these are just examples.

An advanced beginner skill level means you know how to thread, operate, and trouble shoot the sewing machine independently. You understand the concept of quilting.

For adults, ages 17+

Quilting 2 - consists of six 90-minute long quilting sessions for beginning sewers, ages 17+, who are able to operate the sewing machine and have taken a beginner course.
Sewing machines, tools and most materials are provided - please buy your own fabrics.
The speed is increased in this level.
Attention to detail is now a priority.
Straight lines, detailed corners and joining are important.
Let’s develop an eye for design.
Of course, you take home what you make, which will be a beginner ‘baby’- size quilt.

There’s a free parking lot available in the rear of our building, off Floral Ave.
2-hour street parking is also available in front of our studio - 309 South Street.

Our studio entrance is behind the building, accessible from the large parking lot.
We keep the front entry doors locked for security reasons.

Please do not bring food to the studio for individual classes. Children may bring a bottle of water but must keep it closed when not drinking.
