THREADS OF CHAOS is Sew Dandelions' annual student fashion show in New Providence, NJ, featuring original garments and wearable art designed and created by young fashion students during our summer programs.
Inspired by worlds ranging from Marie Antoinette at Versailles and Yohji Yamamoto to 1980s art, underwater color and French confectionery, the collections reflect each student's individual interpretation rather than a single prescribed project.
Join us to see the work leave the studio and come to life on the runway.

Threads of Chaos — Sew Dandelions Student Fashion Show takes place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Sew Dandelions in New Providence, New Jersey. Doors open at 3:30 PM.
Tickets
Advance tickets are recommended as seating is limited.
Adults: $10
Children ages 3–16: $5
Children under 3: Free
Tickets are general admission and seating is first come, first served.

Please complete student registration first. Your $55 student registration already includes admission for two parents/guardians and up to three siblings.

Free parking is available in the parking lot behind the building and along South Street. Please enter through the studio entrance located off the rear parking lot.
Accessibility
The fashion show will take place on the second floor of the studio, accessible by approximately 10 stairs. There is no elevator to the second floor. Guests who have difficulty using stairs should please take this into consideration before purchasing tickets.

Sew Dandelions is an independent sewing, fashion design and textile arts studio in New Providence, New Jersey, offering hands-on classes, camps, workshops and private instruction for children, teens and adults. Our approach combines traditional sewing and technical skills with fashion design, experimentation and individual creative expression.
