Prerequisite: My Very First Knitting Stitch With Meghan

  • Cost: $95 - 2 lessons, 1 hour each.

    • Materials and tools are provided.
      A $15 materials fee is included in the course price. Just bring yourself, your kid, your uncle, or grandma.

    • Max 2 knitters in class as this is a semi-private class. We want you to get excellent beginning with this wonderful craft.

  • Very basic and important foundation of knitting - your very first stitches.

    This 2-wk course is a prerequisite for Intro To Knitting - Technique, especially for kids ages 8-12.

    Course is for Adults and ages 8+.

    Materials included, take home what you make.

  • Absolute Foundation:

    This two‑session, 60‑minute class (ages  8 and up - adult‑friendly) covers the true fundamentals of knitting:

    • How to hold the two needles and yarn

    • Position your hands

    • Connect your brain to the craft

    Over just two lessons, you’ll “master” the core techniques and be ready to advance to our Intro Technique level.

    • Tools and materials are provided

    • You get to take home everything you make.

Knitting 1 - Intro to Technique With Maasa or Meghan

  • Foundation of crocheting.

    For anyone over age 8.

    Materials included: take home what you make.

    • Max 4 knitters in class.

    • Min. 2 knitters in class to run course.

  • Foundation of knitting.

    Now that you know how to hold the knitting needles, you will be ready for your first small project and perfecting your stitches.

    Cost: $195 - 4 classes, 1 hour each.

    • Materials and tools are provided.
      A $15 materials fee is included in the course price. Just bring yourself, your kid, your uncle, or grandma.

    • Max 4 knitters in class.

    • Class must have at least 2 students to run.

  • Foundation Knitting 1: Intro to Technique - is a four-session, 60-minute class for adult makers and ages 8 and up, teaching beginners how, when and where. Tension is an art, gained with time.

    • In four lessons, you’ll learn the core of the craft and simple pattern proficiency: learning to read a pattern.

    • After this course you’ll have basic knowledge and can move up to the next level.

    • Tools and materials are provided.

    • You take home what you make.

Knitting 2 - With Maasa or Meghan

  • An intermediate knitting skill level means you’re ready to tackle projects that go beyond basic stitches.

    For ages 8+ and adults.

    Materials included: take home what you make.

  • Cost: $195 - 4 classes, 1 hour each.

    • Materials and tools are provided.
      A $23 materials fee is included in the course price. Just bring yourself, your kid, your uncle, or grandma.

    • Max 5 knitters in class.

    • 2 students needed to run class.

  • You’re definitely ready to tackle projects that go beyond basic stitches, but we will take it easy - no worries.

    • You’ll work with more varied stitch patterns, incorporate color changes, and shape pieces into more complex forms.

    • At this stage, you can follow basic written patterns, interpret stitch abbreviations, and complete projects with detailed designs and techniques.

    • Tools and materials are provided.

    • You take home what you make.

  • Our studio is fully equipped with everything you’ll need for your class.

    • Our adjustable-height art/craft/sewing table accommodates makers of all ages - children and adults - whether sitting or standing.

    • These knitting courses are for all ages - from 8 to 108.

    The rest of our space… We want you to feel at home. You’ll find:

    • A comfy parlor space with a sofa and ottomans - where you can sit, wait, read, and have tea.

    • A kid-sized table and stools (although, reserved for Open Play in the mornings).

    • A kitchenette.

    • Restrooms are just outside our space in the hallway.

    • Baby strollers can be parked in the foyer/hallway - just don’t block doors.

    • Coats can be hung in our designated area near the kitchen, and shoes may be place there as well.

  • We have very small classes for a reason: personalized learning and to keep things safe and spacious.

    We start our beginner classes with 2-4 individuals, continue with 4, and our advanced classes are no more than 5-6 individuals.

    • We clean surfaces and vacuum daily.

    • Everyone need clean hands and clean (kid) noses when they come in.

    • Our restrooms are just outside the Parlor, in the hallway.

    • If you are not feeling well - please stay home and visit another day. We reserve the right to deny entry to visibly ill guests. It’s nothing personal - it’s for everyone’s health.

  • Yes, in our Parlor. We don’t recommend parents sitting in on the class.

  • No food, please.

    We’re mindful of spills and clean-up. Water and juice are welcome in non-spill cups/bottles.

    Let’s not ruin anyone’s project.

    • Cancel 72+ hours in advance for 70% refund or reschedule.

    • A non-refundable fee of 30% of the total cost applies. This covers enrollment and customer communication. If rescheduled within the allowed timeframe, the fee may be transferred.

    • No refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of the class. It will be considered forfeited and cannot be rescheduled.

    • No-Show: sorry, no refund.
