  • Take a break from the holiday rush and give yourself an hour to slow down, create, and unwind. Join artist Dana Lyons, founder of GlamourGoth Art and graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, for a hands-on ornament decorating workshop that’s as relaxing as it is inspiring.

Using metallic spikes, decoupage papers, magazine cut-outs, and a touch of sparkle, you’ll design your own one-of-a-kind ornaments — perfectly imperfect, entirely personal, and made by hand. Dana will share techniques for layering, texture, and composition that turn simple materials into heirloom-worthy pieces of art.

This workshop is intentionally screen-free — a creative escape from AI, emails, and endless scrolling. It’s about doing something kind for yourself, reconnecting with tactile materials, and celebrating the season through art.

In this workshop, you’ll craft your own fashion-inspired collage using a mix of vintage magazines, decoupage papers, and fabric scraps — transforming everyday materials into editorial-style art. Dana will guide you through composition, layering, and storytelling techniques drawn from her background in both fashion and fine art.

This session is designed to be as restorative as it is inspiring — a chance to breathe, disconnect from AI and digital noise, and do something just for yourself. Each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind art piece that reflects their personal style and sense of imagination.
