Each session is tailored to your level and individual needs - from threading a machine for the first time, to reading commercial patterns, to mastering clothing construction as a whole.
You can be 22, and a total newbie, someone who forgot, at 68, and need a reminder, a sister duo in your 50s, a couple in your 30s, or a mom and kid who want to spend time without any screens.
Each time you book your session, you will be able to fill in a short form and let us know what you’d like to work on: hemming, new construction, patterns, how-to, fixing, re-do, and anything else we can help you with, we will definitely solve it together.
You are welcome to bring your sewing machine if you’d prefer to work on your own - but it’s totally up to you.
-
One-on-one instruction with a professional designer, but you are the driving force in this class. We take your lead, and will work on anything you want to focus on. If you are unsure, reach out to us first.
Use of studio sewing machines, tools, and basic supplies.
Guidance on your project - whether it’s a first tote bag, hemming pants, or creating a custom garment from a commercial pattern.
Your sewing journey is personal and your goal drives the lesson. We take our lead from what you want to achieve, making each session fully tailored to you.
Flexible pace: build confidence, refine skills, or work on a specific fashion idea.
Be done in just one short session, or book multiple to continue a larger project.
This session may be a one-off, or repeated when ever you need it.
You can take it alone, with your child, grandma, uncle, friend - up to 4 sewers.
Book one session next week, and another one in a month - whenever you need it.
-
Fabrics are not one-size-fits-all. Bring what suits your project. We handle everything else, from tools to instruction.

You should be able to: Thread the machine and wind a bobbin without hesitation | Troubleshoot basic issues on your own | Position fabric correctly under the presser foot | Start, stop, and reverse without thinking about it | Sew straight, consistent seams with an even seam allowance | Adjust needle position for seam allowance and topstitching.
If you’re not there yet, this will not be the place to figure it out. Go back to 02 Workshops or book a few Private Lessons. Get comfortable first. Then come back ready to work. This series moves forward—no hand-holding, no rewinding.
