Teen Sewing Prerequisite: INTRO

Meet the Machine: First snips. First stitches. First wins. One lesson.
Small group setting - tons of one-on-one (max 4 students).
Minimum to run class: 1 student.

Cost: $95 - only one lesson. If you don’t like it, that’s it, but at least you gave it a shot - GOOD ON YOU!
Materials included.
Vibe: Super foundational. Total beginner - No experience needed.

Learn how to vibe with the machine. Sew a muslin sewing sample and a little pouch.
Learn: threading, machine control, basic straight stitch, turning corners, topstitching. The flow, the feel, the logic of assembly.
Focus: slow mastery of "how fabric + machine = creation."
Every mistake is a badge of honor. We’re not chasing perfection. We’re chasing muscle memory for the long haul.
Teen Sewing 1: Tote Bag

Know the machine: Grab the thread. All materials included.
Small group setting - tons of one-on-one (max 4 students).
Minimum to run class: 1 student.

Cost: $225 - 4 classes, materials included. Very small group size to maximize one-on-one.
Students will master the absolute basics: threading, starting, stopping, and sewing a simple, clean seam while building the muscle memory they’ll need to conquer bigger projects ahead.
Sewing Prerequisite is necessary to progress to Sewing 1.
Materials provided, projects precut.
Small group setting - tons of one-on-one (max 4 students).
Minimum to run class: 2 students.

Teens will level up from first cuts to full-blown construction: they’ll transform fabric into a custom tote bag - learning how flat panels become 3D pieces you can actually use.
Master straight seams, boxed corners, and topstitch reinforcement.
Command the sewing machine with confidence: pivot, pivot, PIVOT!
Embrace “happy accidents” as part of the design.
Vibe: Now you’re carrying your ideas around with you - ready to run to Sewing 2.
Teen Sewing 2: Pillow Case

The machine is your friend: Shape it. Stitch it. Sleep on it. All materials included.
Small group - max 4 students.
Minimum of 1 students to run class.

Cost: $250- 4 classes, materials included. Very small group size to maximize one-on-one.
Students will build on the absolute basics: threading, starting, stopping, and sewing clean seams while continuously building the muscle memory they’ll need to conquer bigger projects ahead. They will start cutting fabric, which may be a hurdle in the beginning, that must be overcome.

Minimum of 1 student to run class.

Sewing 2 is where flat skills morph into cozy reality. Teens will take fabric and conjure their very own high-end pillowcase - learning how to turn, finish long seams, create French seams and crisp edges that withstand daily use.
Perfect long straight seams and edge turning.
Learn French seams a clean finish technique.
Practice precision: alignment, seam allowance consistency.
Teaches essential finishing skills.
If time allows, there will be a surprise project.
By the end of Sewing 2, students take home a functional pillowcase. It’s proof they can shape fabric into real-world comfort. They’ll be primed to tackle wearable projects in Sewing 3.

Teen Sewing 3: Shorts

From threads to threads: Wear your work.
Small group - max 4 students.
Minimum of 1 student to run class.

Cost: $235 - 2 classes, 2 hours each, materials included. Very small group size to maximize one-on-one.
Students will master the absolute basics: threading, starting, stopping, cutting, and sewing a simple, clean seams while building the muscle memory they’ll need to conquer bigger projects ahead. They will also start with simple pattern making.
This module is perfect for repeating if your teen is loving sewing - every time, they will work on a different project, than Sewing 3 newcomers, and be more independent.

Sewing 3 is the ultimate beginner crescendo. Sewers will assemble pieces into their first wearable garment: shorts, tops, skirts. They’ll try out slight curves, join complex seams, and install waistbands - stepping fully into the world of clothing creation.
Learn to sew curved seams with confidence (crotch and side seams).
Install and encase elastic waistbands.
Align pieces symmetrically for proper fit.
First true wearable piece: massive confidence boost
At the end of Sewing 3, each student walks away wearing something they have created themselves.
Vibe: Making your own clothes = sewing is a superpower. Big proud energy - "I MADE THIS" feeling.
